OSHA 30 Hour Training for all Field Staff

Our Supervisors receive training in the OSHA 30-hour Construction Outreach Program, as well as classes in Fall Protection, Scaffold Erection, First Aid, CPR, and other related safety topics including Substance Abuse Awareness and Recognition. New employees are required to complete our New Hire Safety Orientation Program.

Our Safety Team has many years of safety experience in both the General and Construction industries, and are OSHA and National Safety Council Certified Trainers, enabling them to provide training not only to our staff but providing services to our subcontractors and clients.

Safety is the only way we work

Epic’s Substance Abuse Program includes Pre-hire, Post Accident, Fitness for Duty, For Cause and Random Drug and Alcohol Testing. All employees – including management – are subject to random testing equal to 25% or our annual workforce.

The safety culture within Epic focuses on continually reinforcing to our employees those who are waiting for them at home (our families). These reminders positively impact how we approach and value safety. The proof that our approach works is an EMR consistently below national industry standards and incident rates well below national OSHA standards.

ICRA & ISNetworld Certifications

At Epic Millwork, health and safety are core to our operations. With certifications in ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) and ISNetworld, we uphold the highest safety standards in all projects. ICRA certification ensures effective infection control in healthcare settings, while ISNetworld certification reflects our rigorous safety compliance.
